I'll try just about anything once, and then I'll probably wish I had infinite time so I could master all of them. However, since I haven't quite cracked time travel yet, I mostly settle for running, hiking, playing the cello, painting, dancing, and interrogating my assumptions about the universe.

What sparked your interest in your major?

Honestly I just realized that no matter what else I was studying I'd just get distracted by philosophizing about it anyway So I figured if I'm going to philosophize about everything I might as well get credit for it.

What's the best-kept secret at BYU? Why?

If I said what it was it wouldn't be a very well kept secret would it

What are people often surprised to learn about you?

I think people tend to assume that I'm organized and put together but I'm actually one of the least organized human beings I know No matter how many systems I try I don't think I've ever made it more than a month before giving into the chaos.

What do you do differently than most people?

Sleep. I tend to do it during class, but I hear most folks stick to a night-time schedule. Some day maybe I'll give it a try.

What has been your favorite Honors experience?

It's definitely been the Unexpected Connections class! It's so cool being in a class with people with so many different strengths and interests, and we're learning about whole new ways to see the world, which I find absolutely fascinating.

What is your next step in Honors? (Specific class, thesis proposal/defense, etc.)

Next up for me are a few more Unexpected Connection classes and thesis brainstorming
