How to Join the Honors Program?

To join the Honors Program, complete the following steps:

    Tips for Success

    • HONRS 110 and 120 can be taken concurrently.
    • Prepare a letter of intent and an academic plan that includes only your Honors courses before scheduling your commitment interview.
    • Letter of intent should not exceed 2 pages and it should include your: academic motivation & goals, critical thinking & curiosity, and contribution plan.
    • Schedule your commitment interview while you're taking HONRS 120 and submit your letter of intent & academic plan.
    • Complete the first-year writing requirement, a pre-requisite for Honors 200-level courses.
