I'm from northern Indiana and Argentina, and I love doing anything outdoors! I spend my summers outside playing sports or on the lake, and in the winter I'm either snowboarding or reading a good book. One random thing that I love doing is making flower arrangements. I want to graduate from BYU with my undergrad, and I would love to go into a career in Immigration Law.

What has been the most significant plot twist in your life?

The biggest plot twist was probably deciding to attend BYU, I had already decided to attend a university in Indiana when I realized I needed to study here at BYU.

What’s one item on your bucket list?

Visit Patagonia in Argentina and hike in the Andes Mountains

What sparked your interest in your major?

I have always wanted to be a lawyer and I chose to go into immigration because of personal family experiences I have had with the United States Immigration Services

Why did you decide to join the Honors Program?

I decided to look into the Honors Program because my older brother told me that I should think about it, and I decided to stay in the Honors Program because of the connections and relationships that I will form.

What has been your favorite Honors experience?

My favorite Honors experience has been the Mural Painting Chocolate Chat. I met new students and learned a lot about different fellow students. The activity was really fun and a great way to make new connections and friends.

What is your next step in Honors?

My next step in Honors is taking as many interdisciplinary courses as I can, and spending a lot of time working out all of the problems/issues with my thesis proposal. I'm excited to begin the research for my project and learn more about others' experiences with the Honors thesis.
