I'm Holland and I was born in California, so I love camping, surfing, and botanical gardens.

What is something people are often surprised to learn about you?
My father is the son of the elected royal sculptor of Denmark. Read more about Holland here.

What do you enjoy doing most in life?
I am a professional artist and do anything from oil painting to chalk art festivals to art installations. I even wrote and directed a postmodern, community play last semester.

What sparked your interest in your major?
Plant and landscape systems major is STEAM and outside; that's sick! I want to use Landscape Architecture to turn food deserts into edible cities.

Why did you decide to join the Honors Program?
I love the interdisciplinary approach to education.

What is your next step in Honors? (Specific class, thesis proposal/defense, etc.)
Finding a research team to join in the greenhouse to prepare for my thesis.
