I'm a trombone performance major in the BYU Philharmonic and BYU Synthesis from the Nashville, Tennessee area. When I'm not practicing, I'm listening to music and reading.

What are your favorite books?

My favorite recent mystery book is The Inheritance Games.

What sparked your interest in your major? 

The trombone is incredibly versatile---not just a loud sound mass all the time.

Why did you decide to join the Honors Program?

I decided to join the Honors program because of the unique classes it offers and to help me in my future graduate school applications.

What has been your favorite part of your Honors experience?

I have absolutely loved the Unexpected Connections classes. None of the classes have been boring, but my favorite was Astronomy and Literature.

What is your next step in Honors? (Specific class, thesis proposal/defense, etc.)
