I am 20 years old and from Kirtland, Ohio. I am a Junior this semester. In my free time I like to work out, run, watch Netflix, and sleep (I would like more of that last one). When I graduate I plan on going to graduate school in South Korea to continue my education.

Knowing what you know now, what advice would you give your freshman self?
It seems hard and lonely now, but eventually you will make friends and take classes that you enjoy.

All modesty aside, what are you better at than 90% of people?
I am really great at whistling with my hand. I have never seen anyone else that can do it.

Why did you decide to join the Honors Program?
I decided to join the Honor Program because I was in a program in high school called New Dimensions which is set up very similarly to the way Honors classes mash two disciplines together, and I enjoyed that type of learning.

What has been your favorite part of your Honors experience?
My favorite part of the Honors experience has been taking the Unexpected Connections courses. How many other people can say they learned about zombies in their classes?

What is your next step in Honors?
My next step is taking my last Unexpected Connections course and then I move on to my thesis proposal and starting the research paper that has been hanging over my head for the past two years.
