Meet with Honors Coordinator

Students should meet and introduce themselves to their department Honors Coordinator early in their program. In fact, an initial meeting is a required component of HONRS 110, the introductory Honors course required of all incoming Honors students. Interactions should not be limited to this one meeting, however. Coordinators are excellent resources to help students identify research opportunities, obtain advice about preparation for a thesis within that field, meet other faculty, and more. Often students reach out to Coordinators, in and outside their own department, for research guidance on Great Question essays. See list of Honors Coordinators.
