Why Honors? Through my time at BYU I’ve become increasingly interested in collaboration—both in my creative work and in my teaching. The Honors Program encourages an invigorating exchange of ideas by connecting faculty of different disciplines to teach classes, and by requiring students to explore unexpected connections in several classes and projects. Learning from others who see things differently than ourselves is a great way to expand one’s knowledge and get closer to true innovative thinking—worthy goals for any artist or scholar.
