Why Honors? As I see it, the Honors Program offers an enriched and challenging educational experience for academically talented and motivated students. These students benefit from personalized interactions with professors and individualized mentorship. I’m attracted to the program because of the rigorous coursework that dovetails seamlessly with interdisciplinary learning. Because Honor’s students are able to explore beyond traditional disciplinary boundaries, they should (if done correctly) develop a deep sense of intellectual curiosity—and when this knowledge is brought to their own research projects, what emerges is evidence of a stimulating and well-rounded educational journey.
