What are people often surprised to learn about you?
I love football. I grew up in Texas and football is part of the culture there. I'm a huge BYU football fan, but I'll watch any game.

When you have 30 minutes of free time, what do you do?
During quarantine I taught myself how to embroider so I would probably do that. It's super relaxing and it's always awesome to finish a project and see your work pay off.

Why did you decide to join the Honors Program?
I joined the Honors Program because I wanted to be able to get the most out of my time at BYU. I wanted to be challenged and pushed to grow as a person and a student. That has definitely happened and is still happening for me.

What has been your favorite part of your Honors Experience?
I've loved the Unexpected Connections classes! Taking those classes has completely changed the way that I look at my BYU education because they showed me that there are connections between all of the different disciplines. I've loved meeting other people who are passionate about learning and I've made some really good friends in my Honors classes. I'm so grateful for the experiences that I've been able to have because of the Honors Program.

What is your next step in Honors?
I'm taking Honors 320 right now, so my next step after writing my Great Questions essay will be choosing a topic and proposing my thesis!
