I thoroughly enjoy all kinds of stories. I'm constantly reading, writing, or watching something. I've played Dungeons and Dragons regularly since middle school¾playing, writing, and running the game. I was briefly in the theatre major, and I still irregularly volunteer to run tech on campus. I've worked in the HBLL for the past 4 years and plan on pursuing a master’s degree in Library Science.

What are three things that can always be found in your pantry/refrigerator?

Oreos (or off-brand Oreos, tbh), Milk, and Salsa—though I don't eat all three at once

All modesty aside, what are you better at than 90% of people?

Narrating a tabletop RPG (or DMing, for those in the know). I've consistently run games since I was 12, for all sorts of people and in two languages. It's like interactive storytelling, with the best parts of writing a novel or screenplay, but without all the work and stress that goes into both.

Why did you decide to join the Honors Program?

After I came off my mission, my dad was helping me prepare for classes and found a brochure advertising Late Summer Honors. I went and enjoyed the class so much that I decided to keep trying the classes.

What has been your favorite part of your Honors experience?

The fantastic discussions that I was able to have so early in my college experience prepared me for higher-level English classes. I loved all the Unexpected Connections classes I could participate in for the really engaging, discussion-based learning they presented.

What is your next step in Honors?

Thesis Defense! I've written most of mine, and I'm in the long process of edits etc.
