Thanks for taking some time to read about me! I'm a Canadian American student of computing, security, and language. Outside of class, you can find me cooking pasta or practicing Chopin. My favorite quote comes from Marcus Aurelius: "[P]ass through the rest of life like one who has entrusted to the gods with his whole soul all that he has, making thyself neither the tyrant nor the slave of any man."

What's one item on your bucket list?

Living on the Mediterranean

What are your favorite books? / What are you currently reading?

Mere Christianity by CS Lewis, The Life-Changing Manga of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo

What's the best-kept secret at BYU?

The Library's International Loan System

Why did you decide to join the Honors Program?

I joined because I was fascinated by the talented instructors the program attracts. Many of the professors and leaders in the Honors Program are my academic heroes. They inspire me to do the things I came to college to do.

What has been your favorite part of your Honors experience?

My favorite part of the Honors experience comes down to the interdisciplinary connections. I love coming out of a lecture with my mind reeling over ideas about natural language processing, Marxian class criticism, and ontological angst.

What is your next step in Honors?

My next step is wrapping up the Unexpected Connections courses.
