Briefly tell us about yourself and your passions: I am from a small town in Wisconsin called Marshfield. I have two sisters and all three of us are here at BYU. I love anything that gets me up and moving and compete in powerlifting. I love playing pickleball and skiing with my wife!

What sparked your interest in your major? I have always loved sports and got interested in nutrition for athletic performance.

What’s one item on your bucket list? Completing and IronMan race.

What’s the best-kept secret at BYU? Why? All the free food you can get!

What are three things that can always be found in your pantry/refrigerator? Apples, rice cakes, and chicken

What are people often surprised to learn about you? I ran cross country.

What has been the most significant plot twist in your life? Becoming an FSY counselor.

What do you do differently than most people? I sleep with socks on.

If you could instantly master any skill or talent, what would it be and why? Either skiing or pickleball. I think it would be pretty epic to be able to do tricks off of jumps and ski the whole mountain. For pickleball I would just love to be able to be a dominant force on the courts.

Why did you decide to join the Honors Program? My friend Eben was doing it and suggested it to me freshman year.

What has been your favorite Honors experience? I really love my Honors 290R: Strong Bodies Resilient minds and Healthy Relationships class.

What is your next step in Honors? I am working on my Thesis prospectus.
