I am a freshman at BYU, I plan to go to on a mission between 2026-2028 and intend to continue my major in the Hebrew Bible when I return. I play cello and bass guitar, rock climbing, do archery and macro-photography, and love to write. Click here for more information on Grant.

What sparked your interest in your major?

A long and difficult faith journey in high school that had me develop a strong love for the Bible.

What are three things that can always be found in your pantry/refrigerator?

Yellow potatoes, Colby jack cheese, and Great Value “Chicken Sauce” from Walmart

If you could instantly master any skill or talent what would it be and why?

The capacity to write. I wish to be an author, and I feel I am limited in my ability to not articulate what I want.

Why did you decide to join the Honors Program?

I am highly ambitious, and hope that the Honors program will provide for me a means to publish while in my undergraduate.

What has been your favorite Honors experience?

The opportunities given in the Unexpected Connections courses is great because it gives me more options for GE’s.
