I grew up in Bountiful, Utah with my three younger brothers and our fish named Frank. I'm majoring in Biophysics and have plans to go to PA school after graduation! As of right now, I want to work in oncology. I love music and movies, and lately I've been really into making my own bagels! I'm also a big fan of everything outside, so I can't wait for the weather to warm up so I can go camping

What are people often surprised to learn about you?

My two front teeth are fake due to an extremely tragic rollerblading incident about eight years ago

What are three things that can always be found in your pantry/refrigerator?

Dill pickles and everything bagels and capri suns

When you have 30 minutes of free time, what do you do?

I take a nap or catch up on whatever 2000s sitcom I'm binging!!

Why did you decide to join the Honors Program?

I was really intrigued by the unexpected connections courses and the opportunity to publish a thesis! I am planning on attending PA school after graduation, and I think that being part of the Honors program will help me gain a better perspective and stand out!

What has been your favorite Honors experience?

I love the Honors 120 class! It's really cool to be able to talk about some big issues with my peers and hear their perspectives. I'm also really enjoying being able to focus on a case study and take a deeper dive into things

What is your next step in Honors?

I am currently in the Physical Science and Culture class and I LOVE it! It's really interesting to not only learn about the science behind the atomic bomb, but also learn about the people behind it. It's fascinating that the political, social and economic climates in history were very influential factors in scientific discoveries.
