I am an open major who loves music, dance, reading, travel, psychology and doodling. I’m so excited to be in the Honors program for the unexpected connections classes and to meet awesome people with a lot of scattered interests! It’s so nice to be exposed to a variety of expertise! In my free time I love to be in nature with my family or go on any impulsive side quest. Right now, I’m working on my pre-reqs. for majors in the business school.

Why did you decide to join the Honors Program?
I love the idea of interdisciplinary thinking and exploring those nuances in general ed. classes. It is a lot of the scattered interests I have brought together in classes I am so excited to take. I am also looking forward to the chance to create my own thesis and great questions essay!

I loved going to the murder mystery night and the chocolate chats!

What is your next step in Honors?
I will be starting my first to Unexpected connections classes this semester.

What’s the best-kept secret at BYU? Why?
Impromptu performances in the music building lobby every Friday. No one is over there at noon, but make the trip, it is such a cool experience!

What are three things that can always be found in your pantry/refrigerator?
Cucumbers, Trader Joe's off-brand Takis, some kind of fun-shaped Pasta

What are people often surprised to learn about you?
I play the harp!

What has been the most significant plot twist in your life?
My parents bought a house without telling me we moved a month later :)

What do you do differently than most people?
Most things- I'm left handed

If you could instantly master any skill or talent, what would it be and why?
Flamenco guitar- it would be so fun to be that fast.
