Major: Statistics
Graduation: December 2025

Other than my one-sided love for math and statistics, I have an unquenchable thirst for true crime. Find me listening to true crime podcasts anytime I have my headphones on. I aim to be a data scientist in the field of criminology or forensics. Coming from the culturally diverse country of Nepal naturally made me curious about the world, so I love trying new experiences. Right now, I’m in my study abroad era exploring the infamous United States. Like a video game, I adore dressing up my character in different styles. One of my hobbies is walking around campus to observe how other people dress up! I speak at least 3 languages and am currently trying to learn more. I play the ukulele and sing during my free time.

What are three things that can always be found in your pantry/refrigerator?

Anything lemon flavored, bread, and cream cheese. I like pretending that I’m not lactose intolerant.

What are people often surprised to learn about you?

I haven’t scaled Mt. Everest yet.

What do you do differently than most people?

I brush my teeth in the shower (what can I say, I love multitasking).

Why did you decide to join the Honors Program?

The initial plan was to jump on this new opportunity but I have decided to stay as the ambition and passion around me is contagious. My goal is to get a PhD and I believe the discipline I learn from this experience would be crucial to my journey.

What has been your favorite Honors experience?

The events put on by the amazing Honors community like the chocolate chat and game nights have been a blast. More importantly, I like feeling one with other honors students who are equally struggling.

What is your next step in Honors?

I am enrolling in the Honors 227 next semester! I can’t emphasize how much I love the fact that I get to learn fun stuff like this!
