I love the humanity and relevance in literature and the equalizing influence of accessible libraries. I'm passionate about finding wells to draw from and beautifying the mind of mankind. It seems that literature is the most unifying influence we have in a polarized, tribalized world.

The Brothers Karamazov Paradise Lost East of Eden

What sparked your interest in your major?

I fell in love with the Old Testament on my mission and every part of my soul wanted to explore every part of its marvelous story. I wanted to read everything I could get my hands on.

Why did you decide to join the Honors Program?

The Honors Program is a huge opportunity to tie in all kinds of knowledge and learning into your education and to rub shoulders with remarkable professors along the way. They also value provocation which happens to be my specialty.

What has been your favorite Honors Experience?

Unexpected connections classes are truly incredible. Very bright students, very endearing professors, and minds expanded wide as eternity.
