I am a biracial Latina, best-selling author, artist, editor, musician, entrepreneur, and international public speaker. I have 3 little sisters, and we live in Fort Worth, TX. I'm bilingual (I speak Spanish fluently) and I'm working on learning Italian right now. I've published a book with my sister about self-esteem for kids and I'm currently finishing up my second book. I love to read and write in my spare time, and find new outdoor adventures. Learn more about me at WhollyART.com.

All modesty aside, what are you better at than 90% of people?
Hulahooping (I've won a couple competitions, and my current record is over 3 hours!)

What were your favorite TV shows or movies growing up?
Anything Disney! I especially love The Muppets.

Why did you decide to join the Honors Program?
I knew Honors was the place for me when I learned about the interdisciplinary approach and the emphasis put on learning skills that will help you in all areas of life. I also love the idea of writing, defending, and publishing a thesis - it's a priceless opportunity, especially in my field.

What has been your favorite part of your Honors Experience?
Definitely meeting new people! I've had the chance to make many friends and interact with professors, students, and TA's alike who are very unique. It has helped me examine my BYU experience with a fresh perspective, and offered valuable insight for my personal life.

What is your next step in Honors?
Right now I'm taking Honors 227 (The Comedy of Life)! My next step will be taking another level 200 class. I am absolutely loving them so far.
