Accomplishments: Winner of BYU Concerto Competition; President of the School of Music Student Council; President's Leadership Council Mentorship Program; Grant writer extraordinaire: traveled to New York City, Vienna, Copenhagen, Russia, Poland, San Francisco, and Montana as part of research and experiential learning trips.

Enjoyable/Rewarding part of the Honors Journey: I loved working on my Great Questions essay. I was so surprised and pleased by all of the faculty and professionals that responded to my emails and gave me invaluable help, shared personal experiences and took interest in my work. It opened my mind to the world of possibility out there; all you need to begin is an interesting question.

Plan after Graduation: Working for "Teach for America" in San Jose, CA.
